Driving through the village of Kirtlington you will find Stoke House Annexe positioned just off the village green. You are greeted by the beautiful landscaped garden as you enter the driveway to the property. Guests can use the driveway way to park during their stay (one car)
Guests have use of the whole of the annexe. Upon entering you will find the open plan kitchen, dining and living room on the ground floor. The warm sunshine filters through in the afternoon and it is the perfect spot to chill out and read a book, use the time to turn off and have some ‘you’ time.
Leading up the stairs you will find the bedroom with a king size bed, a small sofa, TV and an ensuite bathroom (bath tub). There is ample hanging and storage space for guests use.
Outside guests have a table and chairs so they can sit out and enjoy the garden, it is the perfect spot to have a glass of bubbles and take in the peaceful surroundings. It is great in the summer season when we have warmer nights as guests have the option to dine outside when the days are longer. Breakfast is provided for 1 or 2 night bookings for guests to help themselves. Longer bookings will have the necessitates to get them started. There is a village shop close by where you can pick up essentials and there is also a supermarket 10 minutes drive from the house for a larger shop/items.
By staying at Stoke Annexe you are the gateway to some of the most beautiful areas of the UK. You are close to the historic University City of Oxford, the delightful countryside of the Cotswolds, the renowned village of Woodstock home to Blenheim Palace and a stones throw from some famous villages (Burford, Bourton on the Water, Broadway – and many more). Kirtlington is easily accessible from many directions and it is well signposted from the M40 and A34. Oxford (20 min) , Woodstock (10 min) and Bicester Village (15 min).
